Raging Rhino by WMS took me on an exciting trip into the African Wilderness with majestic animals like gorillas, crocodiles, and rhinos appearing as symbols on the reels. This visual safari experience is completed by a hazy jungle background and animations that I thought were pretty good for a 2105 game. I wasn’t as thrilled by the top prize of $250k, but the gameplay made up for my disappointment a bit. If I had to pick a better WMS title, I’d go with Montezuma.

Raging Rhino slot did not impress me that much, but it does have some undeniable good points. Raging Rhino is one of the more accessible slots to navigate with its simple design and classic slot sound. I started by betting four credits, which took a couple of spins to win anything. I got a return of 8 credits. I then adjusted to 6 credit bet with a bet multiplier of 15x. This rolled out a couple of spins and eventually hit a decent win of 60 credits. Feeling confident, I adjusted the bet size to 8 credit-bets and a 20x multiplier.
All in all, I felt like I was spending much more than I was winning. The action was low even though there were far more ways to win than your usual slot (4,096 Ways to Win). This could have been my bad luck at the end of the day.
Results:Simple games can be just as enjoyable as other games. But there must be a line where things don’t start to feel stale. Something must keep the player engaged for the all-around experience to be enjoyed and potentially bring players back to play again. The multiplier system, the layout, and the amount of ways to win all boast considerable potential. Maybe I could have gotten a different result if I had spent a bit more time or used a bigger budget.
