Wizard hits the Ice

It’s hockey season, and iGaming maverick, Wizard games has all the stick-on-puck action you could want in-store. The developer’s new game, Ice Ice Hockey, has you hit the rink where you could skate and score your way to prizes worth up to almost 18 000x your stake.

The 5x4 reel layout sits against the backdrop of a professional hockey rink, and unformed players in action poses act as symbols. Multiplier wilds can randomly appear on the reels during the base game, giving you a welcome winning boost. If you land at least three scatters, you will activate the free spins bonus round where wilds are sticky and remain locked in place for the duration of the feature.

Ice Ice Hockey is out right now, so navigate to an appropriate casino and get ready to score.

Yggdrasil and 4ThePlayer go fishing

We’re officially in summer, and the fishing is good, so join Yggdrasil and 4ThePlayer as they cast their line in 4 Fantastic Fish.

This brightly coloured angling adventure is the latest product of Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program and plays out on a stretched-out 6x4 reel format with 4096 paylines. Smiling fish, cheerful crabs, and gleeful gulls rendered in charming cartoon style appear as symbols, along with an enthusiastic fisherman and his gear on partially submerged reels.

A giant squid can randomly wrap its tentacles around the game grid, moving fish symbols around to guarantee or improve a win. If you land four jackpot symbols on the sixth reel, you could claim up to 10 000x your stake in jackpot prizes, and the Respins Bonus Round delivers hold-and-win action that pays out fabulous awards.

You can play 4 Fantastic Fish at your favourite casino right now, so grab your tackle box and hook a huge win.

70 million reasons to smile

What’s a better feeling than winning a $70 million Lotto Max jackpot? We don’t know either, but maybe we could ask Quebec resident Marcel Lussier, who claimed the massive prize from the draw on 7 June.

Lussier, who resides in Brossard, shared that something told him the ticket he bought was special, and when he checked the numbers online the morning after the draw, he discovered just how right he was.

According to the winner, there was nothing different about that day, other than that he had won a spectacular $70 million prize.

Lussier is an environmental engineer and plans to use his winnings to pursue some passion projects, possibly in the realm of history and genealogy. He revealed his generous side when he said that he intends to share his wealth, revealing that he is considering sending assistance to an entrepreneur in war-torn Ukraine to help them build their business.

When asked how he plans to enjoy his windfall, Lussier said he wants to take his wife on a cruise, as their last trip was shelved due to the COVID-19.
