Yggdrasil made the world my playground in Aldo’s Journey, a globe-trotting medium volatility title. Wild Time
Aldo is a wandering wild symbol that stands in for all regular symbols and shifts to a random position on the reels with every spin. When he lands on the tile at the centre of the grid, 3 to 9 regular wild symbols will be added to the reels and a multiplier of 2x to 4x will be applied to any wins you get.
Free Spins
If 3 of the compass scatter symbols appear on the same spin, you will be awarded 7 free spins. The 4 quadrants of the game’s background image represent Italy, Mongolia, Persia, and China. The quadrant that Aldo is in when the bonus round activates determines which version of free spins you will play.
In Italy free spins, you start with a 2x multiplier that increases by +1 with every spin. During the Mongolia free spins round, one type of symbol will be removed from the reels with each spin, and when only 2 symbol types are left, a multiplier will be applied to any further wins. The Persia free spins variant will add a sticky wild to the reels for every spin and if you trigger China free spins, you will be helped by Aldo who throws out a line of wilds across the reels with every spin, with an added 2x multiplier for all wins.
If Aldo is in the centre position when the bonus round is triggered, you will activate Journey free spins, where you get an extra 3 free spins, a 2x multiplier, and are launched into one of the four free spins modes.
If Aldo lands on the centre position and triggers Wild Time during the four main free spins modes, the multiplier he generates will remain for the duration of the feature. If wild time I activated during Journey free spins, you will get an extra 3 free spins.
