Pragmatic Play ended 2021 by celebrating its year of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and its support of various charities and projects.
The iGaming provider advised that it had leveraged its resources to assist a range of charities such as Zibel, a Maltese NGO that specialises in ocean environmental clean-ups, Cancer Relief in Gibraltar; a food bank lifeline foundation in Malta, and an animal shelter in Bucharest to name a few.
“The contributions have been remarkably consistent throughout the year, showing a structured and well-organized operation, highlighting how Pragmatic Play are prioritizing CSR”, the company stated.
Of the numerous charitable and supportive actions the company performed over the year, there are some stand-out examples, like a $5,637 donation to the Women for Women Foundation, $23,600 donated to the Metropolis Philanthropic Foundation in May, and $12,400 given to Calpe House in Gibraltar.
The company additionally notably gave $31,500 to the Maltese Cancer charity, Puttinu Cares, $22,500 to the Blondie Association, and $16,500 to the Homeless Animal Shelter with other animal-related NGOs receiving $6,700.
The company concluded its statement by saying,
“The variety and size of the donations that Pragmatic Play has made throughout 2021 is testament to the importance it places on its role as a responsible corporate citizen, and one that understands that a sustainable business is the first part of a sustainable society. As staunch believers in the equality of opportunity for all members of society, Pragmatic Play's charitable commitments throughout the year have provided a helping hand to those who are less fortunate and less able to access the opportunities that many of us would take for granted.”
