Microgaming recently marked its 15th anniversary with partners, Square Enix, by agreeing to produce a third slot game for the Lara Croft® brand.The exclusive agreement makes this type of collaboration the longest running in the industry, originally established when Microgaming licensed its very first branded slot, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider™, back in 2004 (viewed in the video).
Following its massive success, Tomb Raider: Secret of the Sword™ was launched as a sequel in 2008.
The new game, set for release this year, will once again feature the fearless heroine as she takes players on an ancient quest to uncover riches and rewards. This time round, independent outfit Triple Edge Studios, who have consistently wowed with its innovation and quality, will team up with Microgaming to develop the exclusive content.
The latest instalment of the best-selling video game female lead character (and title) will be unveiled at ICE Totally Gaming 2019.
