NEW CASINO GAMES

Evolution launches XXXtremes

What’s better than live casino? Evolution live casino, of course. The major iGaming provider, which has decimated the competition in the live casino industry for years as fired its next salvo in its quest to retain its top spot.

It doesn’t seem like the company has much to worry about if its new title, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, is anything to go by.

The new game is a beefed-up version of the company’s popular Lightning Roulette and integrates Chain Lightning multipliers and Double Strikes that can boost your multipliers up to 2000x.

In XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, Lightning Numbers with Lightning Multipliers from 50x up to 500x appear and are lashed by lightning, just like the original version of the game. Things get ‘XXXtreme’ when the Chain Lightning effect kicks in, adding extra bet spots that can be hit by lightning

Todd Haushalter, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer at Evolution, gave his gleeful take on the new release, saying,

The original Lightning Roulette game is the most successful table game in the last 20 years of online gaming, and it has already led to a series of Lightning games such as Lightning Dice, Lightning Blackjack, and Lightning Baccarat. Now we are giving players exactly what they have been asking for, more and bigger multipliers. We know there is a subset of players who desire a more volatile Roulette game, and this is sure to give them a chance for bigger wins that they have been looking for.

Pragmatic play- Little Gem

It’s hard not to love Pragmatic play. The internationally renowned developer keeps releasing amazing iGaming content with vibrantly themed video slots to appeal to modern players and sparkling 3-reel productions for fans of classic gaming, like its new title, Little Gem.

Don’t let the name fool you, though; this slot is big on potential and entertainment value. The game is a collaboration between Pragmatic and partner studio Reel Kingdom and includes a powerful Hold & Spin-style feature. Sparkling gems fill the gold-framed 3x3 reels, which sit against a glowing, purple background.

The game’s Hold & Respin bonus round offers wins of up to 2460x the bet, and all you need to trigger it is three Money symbols on the middle reel.

In a company news release, Yossi Barzely, Pragmatic Play’s Chief Business Development Officer, praised the new title’s combination of simple gameplay and rewarding features.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) recently revealed a new Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) millionaire has been crowned. Wheatley shared that it was like a dream when he hit the jackpot and said he intends to put some of the cash towards his retirement while also splashing out on a shiny new truck and storage trailer.

The WCLC recently announced a new collaboration with Inspired Entertainment to add an additional 700 Valor VLTs with exciting game themes to the province.

LOCAL CASINO NEWS

A New Land-based Star in Ontario’s iGaming sky

Recent news has been absolutely dominated by Ontario’s relatively new iGaming market and all the online casino operators that have successfully made their way into the lucrative environment. This week we have something a little different as Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) becomes the very first land-based gaming operator to secure a license to operate in the province, only it will be as an online operator

MGE’s Mohegan Digital brand was launched in June 2021 and is headed up by Rich Roberts, who is President of the company’s iGaming division. His responsibilities include overseeing the successful launch and operation of the PlayFallsview app, which the operator plans to launch in the province.

The company is still short of an operating agreement from iGaming Ontario, the final obstacle before it gets to launch its offering to Ontarians who now find themselves spoiled for choice.

Play Safe with Paysafe and the OLG

In our last bit of business for this edition, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has introduced a new affiliate program in collaboration with Paysafe’s marketing, technology, and services provider, Income Access.

The arrangement will see the new OLG.ca affiliate program powered by Income Access’ affiliate software.

Bet before we get ahead of ourselves, what exactly is an affiliate program.

To put it simply, these are agreements where a business pays another business or influencer a commission based on the amount of traffic and/or sales that get sent their way. Web content, social media, and product integrations are all tools of the affiliate marketer.

The OLG’s chief digital and strategy officer, Dave Pridmore, weighed in on the new agreement, commenting,

Paysafe and its Income Access platform will help OLG continue to show Ontarians our market-leading customer experience and products that are available at OLG.ca.

The second in charge at Income Access, Geoff Smorong was in a celebratory mood, saying,

The launch of the OLG.ca affiliate program marks a fitting landmark for the 20th anniversary of Income Access’ founding in Montreal. “As a company with deep Canadian roots, we’re proud to launch the country’s first provincial lottery and gaming affiliate program in partnership with OLG.ca, an iconic Ontarian brand.
