Yggdrasil Gaming recently announced that it had secured an ISO/IEC 27001 accreditation. This news further establishes the developer’s place as a global industry leader in online gambling content provision as the ISO/IEC 27001 certification proves its dedication to information security standards.
Achieving certification of this type is no mean feat as it is only awarded to organisations who meet the specific information security requirements specified by the standard. Only companies, like Yggdrasil, that display information security best practice are deemed worthy of this honour.
The accreditation allows Yggdrasil to plot its expansion in more global markets as many jurisdictions and the World Lottery Association membership are now employing 27001 certifications as a regulatory standard.
Yggdrasil’s unique content creation and distribution initiative, YG Masters has continued its upward growth trend, and the developer’s dedication to data protection and information security has been instrumental in its ability to attract reputable operations to partner with.
Fredrik Elmqvist, the CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said, “Receiving our ISO certification is something we are very proud of and rightfully so. We have been through a rigorous certification process to ensure compliance is held to the highest regard, which is something we pride ourselves on, and we are committed to continuous improvements in security standards.”
He went on to state, “It is yet another feather in our cap as we continue to provide dynamic, immersive gaming experiences for players all over the globe, while also ensuring YG Masters continues to grow in a secure environment.”
