11 Coins of Fire bears a similar feature set to Gameburger Studios’ 9 Masks of Fire, but a few crucial tweaks make this very much its own game.
When you land 3 or more golden coin symbols on a single spin, you will be awarded one of the prizes displayed on the indicator to the left of the reels. If you land 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11 gold coins, you will receive a reward worth 1x, 5x, 15x, 40x, 100x, 500x, 2,000x, 5,000x, or 10,000x your stake, respectively.
As the coin symbols appear, they fill up a meter below the reels. Once this fills up, the game will transition to a special bonus game. You will be presented with 15 treasure chests which you have to open one at a time. If the chest reveals a gold coin, it will contribute towards an Epic Strike win. If you uncover a silver coin, the feature will end, and you will receive the corresponding prize, as discussed in the section above, for the number of gold coins you have collected.
Land 3 bonus symbols land on reels 2, 3, and 4 to activate the bonus round. You will receive 10 free spins with 30, 60, or 100 extra wilds for the duration of the feature. You can retrigger the feature by landing more bonus symbols, and Epic Strike wins are still possible while it is active.
Playing the Game
11 Coins of Fire is a simple enough game to play. Once you’ve decided on your bet, you can spin manually or choose the Autoplay option for effortless gameplay. You can toggle the sound on or off in the settings menu and the quick-spin option. The rules of play are simply explained in the paytable; the only break from regular gameplay is the interactive Treasure Pick feature.
11 Coins of Fire delivers familiar gameplay with striking visuals and an impressive top prize. This game’s Nordic theme is unusual for slots with similar gameplay, and it is a refreshing change executed with remarkable flair. The battle-worn symbols add an authentic air to the theme, and the atmospheric soundtrack completes the sensory experience.
The features provide continuous action, and the Epic Strike, in particular, ensures that there aren’t many ‘dead’ spins in between wins, as well as being the primary route to achieve the game’s $1 million top prize. For similar mechanics but an entirely different look and feel, you could try out 9 Masks of Fire, or for more atmospheric Nordic-themed action, you can give Cossacks: The Wild Hunt a spin. While this title does bear many similarities to other games, its construction makes it feel like a new experience.
