Popular casino supplier Play’n Go has been nominated in not one but two categories at the much awaited 2018 SBC Awards.
They have been nominated for Best Gaming Innovation and Game Developer of the Year awards. This will be the first set of nominations for the company at SBC awards and are the latest in a slew of other nominations the provider has bagged this year. The Best Gaming Innovation nomination is for their popular musically themed slot – House of Doom that was released early this year in a collaboration with Candlemass – A Swedish Metal band. The company took a rather novel approach of using mind-blowing music specially composed to be part of the slot instead of going the usual standard IP approach.
The SBC awards itself, is in its 5th year and is described to be ‘celebrating and rewarding the very best in Sports Betting’. The award function is slated to take place on December 4th at Artillery Garden in London.
Johan Törnqvist the CEO, quoted that these nominations are certainly a part of a trend for Play’n Go this year.
“This year, we have been nominated a number of times for our efforts towards innovation and development of our games. We are proud that we have grown and progressed as a company, and these nominations serve to tell us that our progress has been positive.
While we aren’t in this business for these awards, we surely are appreciative of the acknowledgment of our work”
