The leading payments platform, Paysafe, recently announced the expansion of its partnership with NeoPollard Interactive (NPi), the most prominent provider in the North American iLottery sphere. The amended partnership enables NPi to leverage Paysafe’s proprietary payment gateway in the operation of Alberta’s sole regulated online gambling website, Play Alberta.
The integration of the recently launched PlayAlberta.ca, which was launched by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis in late 2020 means that Paysafe will processes payments for most of Canada’s regulated lotteries. These include the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (covering New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island), BCLC, Loto-Québec, and Ontario Lottery and Gaming. All the mentioned lotteries now employ Paysafe’s payment gateway technology, allowing players to perform safe and secure deposit and withdrawal transactions.
PlayAlberta.ca features a selection of virtual slots and table games alongside its lottery games. The Website is NPi’s first client solution for a North American Lottery with multi-vertical content.
The slots and table games content exists alongside NPi’s current portfolio of iLottery content, including eInstant and instant lotto games. The website leverages the company’s NeoSphere player management platform, which integrates Paysafe’s premium payment systems to process credit and debit card deposits and withdrawals.
NPi’s management of PlayAlberta.ca includes the implementation of a holistic suite of managed services which include including its Customer Engagement Marketing service which is geared towards effectively channelling players from acquisition to conversion to retention. Additionally, player experience services like a Customer Support Center for phone, e-mail, and chat support is also provided.
This latest development between the two companies follows their July 2020 agreement that saw Paysafe provide its payment gateway to the North Carolina Education Lottery via NPi’s platform integration.
