Microgaming won the award of Digital Product of the Year in the Global Gaming Awards 2014.
The Gaming Awards was organized in Las Vegas on the 29th of September, 2014. It was a wonderful occasion where the two worlds of offline and online gaming were together to celebrate their excellence. There was a panel of 50 members from the industry leaders and their vote was going to decide the winners in the individual category. The KPMG Gibraltar which was assigned as an official voting judge was overseeing the whole judging procedure. This ensured that the judgment that took place there was transparent and perfect. The nominations were solely based on the companies past year’s achievements.

It was not an easy competition and the winner Microgaming had to compete with the nine other companies that were shortlisted for the best Digital Product of the year. Roger Raatgever, the CEO of Microgaming said that it was truly an honor for their team to receive the award for the Digital Product of the Year. The most special thing for him was to win the award from the votes received from judges who are the legends in this gaming industry.
He said that the company was on their toes in this year as they have released some of the epic slot theme games which include Jurassic Park and Terminator , and while saying this he expressed his gratitude to all the employees of the company. The Jurassic Park online slot was launched in August. He dedicated that award to his team and appreciated all their hard work in their successful venture.
