Wheel of Wishes was the first slot from the partnership between Microgaming and Alchemy Gaming. While it isn’t my favourite WowPot game, it has a solid theme and the power to dish out multimillion-dollar prizes. The Power Spins feature can get you big payouts from symbol combos, and it also holds the power of the WowPot progressive jackpot, which set a new online jackpot record when it paid out over $43 million to 1 lucky winner in 2023. Play Mega Fortune and Legacy of Dead if you want more prizes to blow your socks off.

The 93.34% RTP is below the industry average but in line with other progressive slots. This is a low-volatility game, so your winning and losing spins should be balanced.

Land at least 3 bonus wheel scatters on the same spin to activate this bonus feature. Landing three scatters will also pay you a prize worth 500x your bet.

Once you have triggered a Power Spin mode, the three middle reels will merge into one where giant 3x3 symbols will appear. These mega symbols are worth nine, so you can land massive high-value symbol combos for big wins.

My Wheel of Wishes 25 Spins Experience

I opened up Wheel of Wishes and got started, setting my bet amount to 2.50 credits, and almost immediately, I hit a few wilds and secured a decent win of 20 credits. After this, I had some close brushes with hitting the Wheel of Wishes symbols to trigger the bonus feature, but Unfortunately, I narrowly missed it. I then adjusted my bet amount to 5 credits per spin and continued. I then had a few lucky wins with the wilds symbols help of 15, 25, and 5 credits. And again, being so close to getting the Wheel of Wishes symbol. At this point, I had been ahead of my starting amount, and for the last few spins, the winnings started to slow down, lowering my backroll past my starting amount, and I ended off the 25 spins unsuccessfully.

Undoubtedly, the Wheel of Wishes slot is a great addition to Microgaming’s catalogue of great games. The game felt smooth and modern but still helped a classic slot feel. Even though I didn’t end in a profit, the game kept me on the edge of my seat and was a lot of fun. This session would have had a different result if I had hit the bonus feature.
