Gaming Corporation claims that BCLC has taken 18M USD from reserve in spite of prolonged protests.
B.C. Lottery corporation has been prosecuted by one of the biggest companies of B.C. for an amount greater than 18 million USD. In a civil claim notice from supreme court of B.C. the Great Canadian Gaming brought allegation against BCLC for drawing money from a trust account after years of agreement wherein it was agreed not to collect cash anymore.
Great Canadian has claimed that they have been raising their voice over this matter for many years now. The lawsuit explains that BCLC have always refused and also neglected to stop money collection. The lawsuit further claims that BCLC has illegally collected money without any entitlement or right.

This lawsuit talks about the agreement of marketing trust account which was at some of point of time executed between casino companies of B.C. having more than three hundred slot machines and BCLC.
The companies used to contribute money to fund different programs that promote casinos in a positive manner by adhering to the social responsibilities.
In the lawsuit, it has been mentioned that in the year 2009, BCLC terminated that agreement by citing reasons that Great Canadian Casinos INC. need not make any further contribution.
But the Great Canadian Casinos INC has claimed that they have discovered BCLC has continuously collected revenues at the rate of 0.6 percent, even after the letter of termination.
The company has also said that they have repeatedly requested BCLC to stop the money collection. They have also claimed that they tried cautioning BCLC since the year 2010, but did not get any result.
As of 31st December 2014, Great Canadian Casinos INC. claimed that BCLC till date have jeopardized 18 million USD.
Chris Fairclough, the spokesman of BCLC has clearly expressed their disappointment on the allegation of Great Canadian casinos INC. He further added that his company will not comment on this issue because at the moment the case is in the courts right.
Great Canadian casinos Inc. has also refused to comment on this issue. Till date none of the allegations or claims has been proved in the court.
