Heywood is a former soldier from Cheshire and had spent time in Afghanistan as part of his duties.
Heywood spent just 25p to begin the spin that landed him this massive fortune. He says he just spent time staring at the screen showing his Betway account after he won the jackpot. He then showed up for work the next day and did not confide in anyone about his win for three days.
Heywood plans to first spend some of his win ensuring that his father obtains proper medical treatment as he awaits heart and lung transplant. Next, on Heywood’s agenda is a Mediterranean cruise along with his family. Finally, he plans to replace his old Fiat Punto with a yellow Bentley Continental GT.
Alan Alger, a Betway spokesman said that his company was delighted that one of its clients had set a record. He also said that he had met Heywood and could honestly say that the win could not have happened to a nicer young man.
Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgeever congratulated Heywood on his life altering win and said that his firm has paid out more than half a billion Euros since 1998 as winnings from its online progressive slots game.
