Loto-Québec has announced it currently has several unclaimed lottery prizes, indicating that there are millionaires out there, not quite blissfully unaware of their good fortune.

The provincial crown corporation is on the hunt for the owners of winning tickets that were purchased over the past year and who still have yet to claim their respective windfalls.

In an official statement, the organisation elaborated, saying,

Among them are three millionaires who have yet to claim their prize, including one for whom the claim deadline is just a few days away.

Loto-Québec explained that one $1 million winner bought an Extra ticket in Laval-des-Rapides in 2020. The winning number is 7746780 and the claim deadline is October 9 2021.

Another fortunate Québec resident is being sought out for their $1 million Lotto Max ticket purchased on 22 June in Gatineau. This ticket’s number is 04 18 21 27 32 38 44.

Lastly, someone staying in Québec City is unknowingly sitting on a $2 million fortune from a Quebec 49 ticket bought on 14 August with the winning numbers, 10 16 19 35 39 47.

Loto-Québec has encouraged anyone with unclaimed tickets to verify their numbers on the organisation’s website or via the handy mobile app.

In January 2021, a $1 million winning ticket that was purchased in Gatineau expired after remaining unclaimed for almost 18 months, an extension over the usual 12 months that was granted due to the global pandemic.
