Play'n GO Spins into battle in Gates of Troy

Play’n GO has launched its new, Greek mythology-themed slot, Gates of Troy.

The developer drew inspiration from the tales of the Trojan War, where you will take on the role of Achilles, and lead your soldiers in a clandestine mission to infiltrate the city of Troy. It’s all about bundling 20 brave soldiers into the iconic Trojan Horse so you can mount an effective offence and reap the rewards.

The game’s 5-reel format includes an eye-catching range of symbols, including  symbols like vases, fruit bowls and characters from the mythological tale.

Land three Scatters, to trigger the free spins round where you find yourself before the might entrance to Troy.

Every wild symbol that lands during the feature will leave a frame behind, and once the final free spin takes place, the Wilds are added back onto the reels. Additionally, 2x multiplier wilds can also make an appearance during the base and bonus games. With a maximum win potential of 3000x your stake, there is no excuse not to get geared up and ready for battle.

The Head of Games at Play'n GO, Charlotte Miliziano, said,

"Our previous titles based on Greek mythology have been well-received – the setting provides lots of visual flair and storytelling avenues. We think Gates of Troy perfectly embodies what Play'n GO's audience wants. Fun."

4ThePlayer and Relax Gaming get hot under the collar

Relax Gaming-affiliated iGaming studio 4ThePlayer has released a devilishly entertaining new online slot title, named 4 Deals With the Devil, and is inviting you to turn up the heat.

The game’s 6x4 reel set is draped in red and features supernatural symbols like black cats and gargoyles, along with a sultry devil in a form-fitting red dress.

The Devil Lady Wild Respin feature activates when you land a wild during the base game. During the respin, any visible wild symbols are locked in place and will expand by 1 position to increase your winning chances. When the game begins, you get to choose from 4 free spins options that require varying numbers of scatters to trigger. The more scatters required, the more free spins you get, along with expanding and jumping wilds.

If you fall just short of the required scatters, don’t worry because the game may allow you to spin a bonus wheel and gain entry to your chosen bonus round.

Don’t tell his wife!

A lucky Albertan kept a cheeky multi-million secret from his wife, but only for a short while.

When Cochrane-based Lotto Max Winner, Assat Aytnyakov found out that he had been awarded $13 million from a recent draw, he decided to keep the amount he had won a secret, all to surprise his unexpecting wife.

Aytnyakov had purchased his ticket a day before the August 9 draw, and when he realised he had claimed the jackpot the next day, he made sure to double-check his ticket at a local store.

This money is absolutely life-changing. It doesn’t feel real yet,” he said, before revealing that he had not told his wife exactly how much they had won.

She didn’t know much, just that it was a huge amount," he shared.

The winner revealed that he intends to put some of the money towards his retirement, while a portion will also go to his family.

Wheel of Fortune Slots are the gift that keeps giving

International Game Technology’s (IGT) Wheel of Fortune Powerbucks slots have been exceedingly generous to Canadians. The provider recently revealed that its games in this category had paid out twice for more than $1 million in August.

Wheel of Fortune Powerbucks titles are exclusive to Canada and were the world’s first omnichannel progressive games that pooled jackpots by connecting physical gaming machines with online slots.

On August 20, an online player testing their luck with Powerbucks Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Exotic Far East in British Columbia won a jackpot worth $1,157,664. A mere six days later, the Powerbucks game, Hawaiian Getaway dished out a $1,039,401 prize to a lucky Ontarian.

These two huge Powerbucks wins followed another pair of major prizes awarded by the lucrative game series. On July 25, a Powerbucks player took home $1,263,743 while playing Wheel of Fortune Latin Getaways online in Ontario. Four days after, a $1,032,361 prize was served up by a Wheel Exotic Far East game online in British Columbia.
