There were thousands of participants at this week’s ICE London 2020.
For online slot gamers who are most excitedly waiting for the announcements, this will surely be of some importance. Several big slot announcements for early releases have been made. So why not get right into it and check out some of them by the industry’s big fish.
Microgaming
Microgaming’s plan for this year’s ICE London was already reported by us last week. The company exhibited an updated version of brand content alongside forthcoming games.
The striking revelation was Deadmau5, a new slot game in collaboration with the well known Canadian DJ. The game is based on the artist’s latest tour, mixing thrilling slot game features with an electronic soundtrack. The title by Eurostar Studios is slated for a 2020 release.
Microgaming’s next announcement was the soon to be unveiled Game of Thrones. Another slot themed on the HBO show, Game of Thrones Power Stacks, is planned for a later release this year. The game is the latest in a long association between the two brands. The initial Game of Thrones slot was launched by Microgaming in 2014, followed by Game of Thrones some years later. This surely will be sweeter than honey for the show’s aficionados as they get ready for another Westeros experience. These are definitely two of Microgaming’s most superb announcements. The two big games are bound to make both players and fans happy. However, not until their release can we know if they will match up to Microgaming’s brand name.
NetEnt
The week has been exceptionally busy for NetEnt. They chose the ICE London 2020 platform to reveal their plans for this year. They have signed a deal with Fashion TV, and also there are a lot of new content providers on their rolls. Slot players, however, want to know the new game announcements. Well, there was no dearth of that.
NetEnt’s biggest announcement was the launch of the most famous video game franchises ever. Street Fighter™ II: The World Warrior Slot is filled with the well-known characters E. Honda, Ken, Ryu and of course, Chun Li’s showdown with M Bison, Balrog, and Vega.
Bryan Upton, Director of Games at NetEnt, said: “Thirty years ago in the early 90s Street Fighter II: The World Warrior was a worldwide rage and today it still continues to enthrall enthusiasts and is referred to as the ultimate video game masterpiece.”
Marked for release on 21 February 2020, the slot has been made by Capcom, the original creators of Street Fighter II.The new Gordon Ramsay slot is another announcement that has got tongues salivating. Set to be released somewhere later this year, it is based on Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen, the chef’s popular TV series.
The Other Notable Slots
Novomatic: The brand has come up with the nostalgic 80s David Hasselhoff slot. The title was showcased on the third day in honor of the 40th anniversary of the company.
Ganapati: Usain Bolt, Earth’s fastest man, was present to promote his namesake branded slot at the company’s booth.
Evolution Gaming: 5 new first-person games intended to be a first of a kind gaming experience as well as a dozen new games including live casino slots were exhibited by the brand.
