NetEnt Gains License As Supplier In BC, Canada

NetEnt Americas LLC has is now the province’s only licensed lottery and gaming operator. The company was given approval by none other than the Gaming Policy and Enforcement branch and BC’s gaming regulator to be a certified supplied to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.

The BCLC which is a crown corporation is owned by the province of BC. The revenues that are generated from the Kamloops-headquartered BCLC are directed to support communities, education, and health care. The gaming market in each of British Columbia’s provinces is regulated by a separate licensing system. British Columbia is the third largest Canadian province with a population of over 4.6 million. Vancouver is the largest city in the province. The BCLC has issued govt. approved lottery games in BC since the year 1985 and has agreements with over 20 service providers across 40 locations in BC.

The president and CEO of NetEnt, Per Eriksson stated that he was very pleased that the company has reached yet another important milestone in their expansion on regulated market.
